2013
Noble Champagne 2013 is a blend of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, combining the chalky finesse of Chardonnay with the elegant structure of Pinot Noir. Sourced primarily from selected plots in the Grands Crus, only the finest juices—extracted from the first pressing—are vinified without malolactic fermentation, following the traditional Champagne winemaking method.
70 % Chardonnay
30 % Pinot noir
Including a Grand Cru from the Montagne de Reims: Verzenay
Including Grand Crus from the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger,Le Mesnil-sur-Oger
A late vintage, the result of a year marked by striking contrasts, with two springs, two summers, and two harvests. Noble Champagne Grands Crus, harvested under radiant sunshine, reveal perfect ripeness and remarkable acidity. The 2013 wines, refined and elegant, bear the hallmark of the continental climate in which they were born.
A golden color with golden-green highlights, enlivened by a stream of fine bubbles.
An elegant and complex nose that reveals aromas of candied citrus combined with hints of hazelnut and a touch of acacia honey.
The initial taste is dense and fresh, opening with notes of blood orange and calisson. Chalky and salty notes lend it a precise texture of great purity.
To bring out the best in Noble Champagne, the Meilleur chefs have created their signature shallot dish using two different cooking methods, served with sorrel and a burnt pine broth—a pairing in which the champagne brings harmony and balance to the dish’s various flavors.
