Beatriz Gonzalez

Beatriz Gonzalez

From her childhood spent in the kitchen of her family's restaurant in Cozumel, an island paradise opposite Cancùn, to her professional success in Paris, Chef Beatriz Gonzalez has succeeded in imposing her refined vision of cuisine. Since 2012, this Franco-Mexican creator has been working alongside pastry chef Yannick Tranchant at Neva Cuisine, as well as at Coretta, a gourmet temple that attracts enthusiasts in the 17th arrondissement. His childhood spent in Mexico is bathed in gustatory memories that inspire his sunny, colorful cuisine, subtly combining the traces of French cuisine and the influences of flavors brought back from his travels.

"The freshness and vitality of Lanson Champagnes are a perfect match for my cuisine. This harmony becomes a source of sharing and emotions."

In 2022, Beatriz Gonzalez becomes the Ambassador of Maison Lanson and its gastronomic cuvées Le Blanc de Blancs and Le Black Réserve. The Chef gives them pride of place in her two Parisian restaurants, Coretta (17th) and Neva Cuisine (8th), where they accompany her citrus-flavored cuisine. Together, Beatriz Gonzalez and Maison Lanson express their love of the terroir, of work well done, of sharing and the desire to please.

"Beatriz's cuisine is a true invitation to travel. It's all about balance, and reflects her mastery of citrus fruits.
The tangy notes obtained resonate beautifully with the freshness and vitality characteristic of the Lanson style."

The promise of a great story

It all began with the meeting of Beatriz Gonzalez and Hervé Dantan, Cellar Master at Maison Lanson. Both work daily to pass on their love of the terroir, drawing on the savoir-faire they have each inherited: Beatriz from her restaurant-owning parents, who passed on to her the first gestures and passion of cooking; Hervé Dantan from Maison Lanson, its rich family heritage and unique age-old savoir-faire.

The collaboration between the two Chefs has been built on numerous exchanges. The fruit of these moments of sharing are balanced food and wine pairings, combining the refined, gourmet cuisine of Beatriz Gonzalez with the two gourmet cuvées of Lanson Champagnes, created by Hervé Dantan.

To sublimate Le Black Réserve, Beatriz imagines a crispy poultry supreme, accompanied by glazed salsify, sancho pear, meyer lemon slivers and walnut pesto.
