The Extime Duty Free Paris store at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport is decorated in the colours of Rosé Création

From 25th February to 28th April 2025, the Extime Duty Free Paris store in Terminal A1 (LTA1) at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport is showcasing our Lanson Le Rosé Création cuvee.

In this dedicated space, travellers will have the opportunity to discover this iconic cuvee through an exclusive tasting experience, alongside a savoury Comté cheese biscuit, a pairing designed to bring out its aromas. Every weekend, there will be a representative on hand to elevate the experience and explain the subtleties of this exceptional champagne.

This showcase has been made possible thanks to our collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail, Extime Duty Free Paris and Globe Travel Retail.

The art of blending, from tasting the still wines to the birth of Grands Champagnes.

Every year in Champagne, a vital step takes place behind the scenes: tasting the still and blending wines. The day after the harvest, the Cellar Master, Hervé Dantan, and the Lanson Tasting Committee meet to taste, one at a time, the wines from the latest harvest. Made from different grape varieties and from more than one hundred Crus, these wines of varied aromatic profiles provide a unique palette from which to create champagnes in the Lanson style.

With goldsmith precision, they will play around with the freshness and aromatic potential of the year's wines along with the reserve wines from the Lanson Library to determine the perfect combination. Our Vineyard and Oenology teams work together, overseen by our Cellar Master, to create wines whose quality and style span decades of notoriety.

Blending is an art that requires savoir-faire, intuition and creativity.

At Lanson, from November to March, our qualified team wields the pruning shears to shape the vines of the years to come.
Pruning is the "founding act" of the vine. Good pruning conditions the quality of the grapes, an essential ingredient for great Champagnes.
Based on a family heritage and unique know-how, it is the love of a job well done and the care for others that has guided the men and women of Maison Lanson every day for over 265 years.

MAISON LANSON UNVEILS THE NEW VINTAGE OF ITS PRESTIGE CUVÉE: NOBLE CHAMPAGNE 2005

The result of nature at its best, human savoir-faire and time, Noble Champagne is produced in a very limited edition and only in the most promising wine-growing years.
Letting time work its magic, Hervé Dantan, Cellar Master, chose to age Noble Champagne Vintage 2005 for almost two decades in the cellars before unveiling it, making it one of the oldest vintages currently on the market.
